SUP paddler, Marcus Tardrew continues to shine in the Western Australia race circuit, winning his 2nd SUP5000 a couple of weeks ago. This race is a series of races beginning with a 2000m race, followed by race distances decreasing to 1500m, 1000m and finally, 500m. This means sprinting when you’re already trashed…He tells us he’s been supplementing his on-water training with intervals of 3 min on the SUP paddling adapter alternating with 1 min on a bike set up on a wind trainer. Seems to be paying off for him! Nice job, Marcus!
