Which Model Canoe Paddling Adapter do I have?
From 1994 – 1997 we sold a canoe adapter that was very long and had a separate seat assembly that was placed behind the Concept2 Indoor Rower. We now refer to this as the Model A Canoe Paddling Adapter. See the below line drawing:
Starting in 1997 we produced our current version of the Canoe Padding Adapter which uses the Indoor Rower seat. We now refer to this as our Model B Canoe Paddling Adapter. See the below drawing:
Which models of the Concept2 Indoor Rower does the Paddling Adapter fit onto?
The Paddling Adapter is designed to fit on the Concept2 Models C, D, and E Indoor Rowers and the Concept2 RowErg . For the Model E Indoor Rower and the Row Erg with longer legs, an additional platform is necessary under the Rower footrest. Typically, while using the Paddling Adapter, your heels rest on the floor and the balls of your feet rest on the bottom of the Rower footrest. Because the footrest is higher on the Model E Rower and the RowErg with longer legs, you will want some sort of platform to rest your heels on when you paddle.
